Here‘s an easy recipe for indian curry dusted tofu. I love tofu. Its so versatile and takes on the flavor of whatever your cooking it with.
There are so many recipes out there involving tofu but this is one you should definitely put this one on the menu. You can use this tofu recipe in a stir fry, mix it with ramen, put it in a flour tortilla and top it with a little spicy mayo, use it In lettuce wraps(as shown in photo), or just eat it straight up like I do!
Recipe:
1/2 block tofu cut up into cubes
1-2 cups flour
1 cup or more milk (I used soy)
Veg oil for frying
1/2 tsp each:
Garlic powder
Salt/pepper
Cumin
Curry-maybe a little more to get an extra curry flavor
Stir all the spices in a bowl with the flour. Pour the milk in a separate bowl. Using a cast iron skillet or non stick pan, heat up about 1/2 oil. Then dredge tofu in milk then flour. When pan is hot, place tofu inside and fry until brown on all sides. Lay on plate or towel to drain.
